Section VIII Athletics announced a new partnership with Musco Lighting to enhance the student-athlete and fan experience at member schools.

As Official and Exclusive Sports Lighting Provider, Musco will provide educational programming and other resources to raise awareness of lighting practices that help improve on-field safety and playability, heighten gameday atmosphere, expand field usage, and extend the longevity and lifetime value of their lighting systems.

Musco also offers free on-site lighting audits that help facilities assess the performance of their existing lighting and understand key considerations for their next project.

Justin Jonas, Assistant Executive Director, Section VIII Athletics, added: “By supporting Section VIII Athletics, they are reinforcing their commitment to local communities in Nassau County.”

Established in 1929, Section VIII is one of the eleven sections of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). It is made up of 60-member high schools from Nassau County, NY.
